On Tuesday 19 June (16:00-18:30), the Committees on Budget (BUDG), Budgetary Control (CONT), Foreign Affairs (AFET) and Development (DEVE) are jointly organising a public hearing entitled 'Assessing the flow of external EU migration funding'.

During this hearing, the Practitioners' Network was represented by the British Council, co-leader of the Crisis, Fragility and Migration Working Group together with Expertise France. The speakers that represented the Network were Bob Arnot (Lead Security Justice and Conflict Sub Saharan Africa, British Council) and Krzys Jurek (Director EU Office, British Council).

The aim of the hearing was to assess the flow of current expenditure on the migration-related projects and the EU Trusts Funds and to analyse to what extent they bring added value to the EU budget.
