Who are we?

Europe based, implementing worldwide

Founded in 2007, The Practitioners´ Network for European Development Cooperation is an open platform for exchange, coordination and harmonisation between European development cooperation organisations. It is a platform where Members share their experiences and reflect on joint efforts at implementing level.

By providing feedback on European development policies from a practitioners´ perspective, the Network contributes to coherence of the European development cooperation efforts. It encourages an integrated, pluralistic, innovative, pragmatic and efficient approach in implementing European Development Cooperation.

Together we strive for effective delivery of international cooperation

The Practitioners´ Network is governed by its Charter and is constituted by the General Assembly of all Members. The Presidency is held by a Member in annual rotation. A Steering Committee of six Members including the Presidency and a Coordinator supports the Presidency and the Network´s activities. The budget of the Practitioners´ Network is entirely based on Members' contributions.
